donna bond

Donna began practicing yoga and meditation regularly after moving back from Mexico in2002, and finding life in the United States to be increasingly stressful. What started as an effective means to calm the mind and remedy back pain blossomed into a path of learning and discovery about life and ways of being from many traditions and lineages.

 

Donna is grateful for invaluable early instruction in the Iyengar tradition from Bobbi Goldin; the Ashtanga/Mysore tradition from Marisa Gallardo; and in MindfulnessMeditation from Maria Teresa Alvarez. Donna has completed 100 hours of teacher training in Iyengar yoga, is an RYT-200, and holds a 100-hour meditation teacher certification from Discovering Mind. Her teaching experience includes yoga in the traditions of Hatha, Vinyasa, Power, and Ashtanga; and yoga for special needs, cancer survivors, teens in foster care, and children. She continues to study yoga with teachers around the U.S., and eastern philosophy and healing arts, especially in the Buddhistand Daoist (Qi Gong) traditions.
