tina lanzoni

Tina Lanzoni E-RYT500, C-IAYT, Is a yoga therapist, certified mindfulness meditation teacher and indoor cycling instructor. Tina began teaching group fitness in 1985 and started teaching yoga in 2000. She is a certified Yoga Therapist through the Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy and is certified through the International Association of Yoga Therapists and Yoga Alliance.

With over 10,000 hours of teaching experience, Tina shares her expertise freely by providing a space where people feel safe to explore and go inward to connect with the subtle meditative aspects of yoga. Her passionate and relatable personality, and constant search for knowledge, keeps her classes heart-felt, safe, and inspirational.

Tina incorporates meditation, somatic movement, yin, breath work, and iRest in her teachings to assist students in developing  an understanding of the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual connection that promotes deep healing. This well-rounded approach gives people applicable tools to use in life to help to diminish suffering.

 

Tina has trained over 100 yoga teachers in the Annapolis area since 2010 in both vinyasa and yin. Having the honor of studying yin yoga, chakra theory and anatomy with Paul and Suzee Grilley, Tina shares their teachings in her trainings. She is a level II iRest/yoga nidra teacher, trained by Richard Miller, a continuing education provider for Yoga Alliance, a lululemon ambassador and is a mentor for teachers in the Kripalu Integrative Yoga Therapy program.
