Andi was originally introduced to yoga as an extension of her classical ballet training in her teens. Long after her dancing years were over she returned to yoga as a healthy way to achieve the fluidity of motion her body craved. But, with the help of amazing instructors, quickly fell in love with the spirituality of the practice. Andi loves that yoga teaches us to live in the present. Yoga meets you where you are. On this day. In this moment. With this breath. And she takes that mantra with her into all of her classes. As an instructor, Andi's goal is to help her students find that connectedness and sense of peace that she has found through her own practice.
EVERY BODY IS A YOGA BODY.
Andi is a fervent believer in that motto. She sees and believes in the capabilities of every student who walks into her class, and will do everything in her power to help them see it too.
When Andi takes her yoga off the mat she spends her days raising three amazing children. Which means her “down time” often involves checking homework, doing obscene amounts of laundry, and having impromptu dance parties in the kitchen. She has also recently taken up paddleboarding in hopes of eventually taking on the challenge of paddleboard yoga.
Whether you see Andi as a special event instructor (she loves a good batchlorette party) or for a regular class, she looks forward to practicing with you and can’t wait to see you in class!
