Jenica has been practicing yoga since 2015, when a friend invited her to a yoga studio in Baltimore and she fell in love with the classes. The greatest benefit to her has been how the mind-body connection has brought more peacefulness into her life, and she hopes to share this with her students. She now has a toddler and is trying to teach him how to take deep breaths as he learns about life. Jenica completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2020, and today focuses on teaching Vinyasa and Yin classes.

One advantage of completing training during the pandemic was becoming accustomed to teaching virtually. Jenica has taught corporate yoga classes for both FTI Consulting and Deloitte, where she has taught up to 500 conference attendees.

Originally from Maryland, Jenica studied psychology at the University of Delaware. She lived in Seoul, South Korea for three years, where she worked with the US military and their Korean counterparts.  One of her favorite experiences was going to Kenya on safari for her honeymoon in 2021, and she loves to travel whenever possible. Before having a baby, she volunteered at an animal shelter and misses hanging out with all the cats. She enjoys hiking, boating, and other outdoor activities.
